What do the different statuses mean?

From your ICHRA portal, you can view your quote’s status or see where your client is in the setup process—all in one place.


  • Pipeline tab: Track prospects from the quote stage through onboarding
  • Customers tab: Find prospects who have completed onboarding and are now customers

Here’s a quick guide to the statuses and what they mean:


Quote Statuses

The client is still receiving quotes and sharing their feedback.

  • Draft Quote: You’ve started a quote but haven’t added employees yet.
  • Employees Added: Employees are in and your ICHRA strategy is set—nice work.
  • Exported Quote: You’ve exported the quote, often to present alongside other options.
  • Sent Quote: The quote has been emailed through the portal.
  • Viewed Quote: Your client has viewed the quote but hasn’t taken action yet
  • Changes Requested: Your client has requested updates to the quote.


Pipeline Statuses

The client has accepted the quote and has started to set up their account.

  • Finalized Quote: The client approves the quote and is ready to begin onboarding. An onboarding link is sent to get started.
  • Account Creation: The user has created their account, but has not started any onboarding steps.
  • Onboarded: The client is working through onboarding steps.
  • Customer: All set! You can find them anytime in the Customers tab.
