What's the onboarding process like for employers?
Fast and simple. Once an employer finalizes their quote and begins setup, onboarding typically takes about 10 minutes.
It can be even quicker if they choose to integrate payroll for onboarding, since that may allow us to skip certain verification steps like collecting an EIN letter or driver’s license.
The self-guided process includes a few easy steps:
- Confirm plan details, such as contributions and start date
- Complete any remaining account verification
- Add a bank account

Once employees are added, they’ll automatically receive an email inviting them to review and enroll in their ICHRA benefit. Our support team and Gallagher ACA Marketplace brokers are also available to help with plan shopping or answering questions about how ICHRA works.
